Our Research Focus

The Lieurance Invasion Ecology Lab is dedicated to advancing the field of invasion ecology, with a focus on understanding the impacts of biological invasions, improving prevention strategies, and strengthening biosecurity to combat the introduction and spread of invasive species. Our research investigates how invasive species interact with ecosystems and explores the influence of climate change on their behavior, spread, and impact. By examining these dynamics, we aim to develop innovative solutions to safeguard biodiversity and enhance ecosystem resilience in the face of global environmental changes.

Additionally, we pursue actionable science and work closely with practitioners and decision-makers to improve invasive species management in the face of climate change. We are passionate about making a difference and protecting the biodiversity of our ecosystems.
